The Honorary Consul and his office
The honorary consul of the Czech Republic is appointed for a so-called official district and works in places where an embassy or a consulate general can for various reasons not be established.
Here he supports our diplomatic missions abroad in presenting the Czech Republic and performing certain consular duties.
He performs the honorary post of honorary consul in addition to his other professional duties and does not receive any salary or other remuneration from the Czech Republic for this activity.
Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic does not have to be a citizen of the Czech Republic.

Acceptance of applications for official documents of the Czech Republic (birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, citizenship certificates and others)

Mediation of economic, political and cultural contacts between Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, the Saarland and the Czech Republic
